One of my favorite writers today is Ralph Peters, a retired Lieutenant Colonel whose no-nonsense approach to politics and especially as it affects the military, has both thrilled those of us in the military and upset some...mainly those in the upper ranks who do not like having him call them out. Once again, he talks about how political correctness is killing our troops. How, instead of fighting a was as it should, we are fighting it as our enemy would like us too...with one arm tied behind our back. It is time that we place the troops on the ground necessary and kill the enemy...if innocents get in the way it is an unfortunate part of war...war is UGLY!!!
